, 86, of Louisville, died peacefully Sunday, December 11, 2016.
She was born December 17, 1929 in Louisville to George Reeder and Rosa Anna McCarthy. She was a kind, wonderful, mother and “RoRo” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved helping all. She was a member of Meadowview Presbyterian Church and was active in the Presbyterian Women and Choir there. She always enjoyed her monthly lunches with the “Atherton Girls”. She also loved visiting Kiawah Island, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 65 years, David.
She is survived by her son, Don (Linda); daughter, Diane (Randy Spivak); grandchildren, Matt Roberts (Kelley) and Kimberly Roberts; 2 great-grandchildren, Dawson Rose and Brody Lee Roberts; brother-in-law, Steven Drescher (Judith); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 12:00 pm, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday beginning at 10:00 am until time of service, at Highlands.
The family would like to thank Dr. Frank Harrell and staff, and Bob and the Rite Aid Pharmacy at Gardiner Lane for their care.
