Obituary for Dorothy "Dot" Carney
Carney, Dorothy L., 91, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, December 07, 2016.
Born in Harrodsburg, the former Dot Curtsinger retired from Enro Shirt Factory as a utility operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ben C. Carney; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; and 4 siblings.
Dot is survived by her daughter, Ruth “Dee” Collard; sister, Bertha “Bert” Eggleston; 2 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Her visitation will be on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm with funeral services to immediately follow at 1:00pm, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
