GOODMAN, Juanita R., 91, of Louisville, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Baptist Health, surrounded by her loving family.
Born November 5, 1924 in Estill County, KY to the late Elby and Nannie Rankins, she was one of eight children. She was a former employee of Louisville Home Federal Savings and Loan, the KY Fair Board, and the Louisville Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
Juanita was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Jones Rehm; a grandson, Michael Ryan; and three husbands, Joseph Jones, Thomas Ryan, and Harry Goodman, Jr.
She is survived by two sons, J. Michael Jones (Janet) and R. Patrick Ryan; a sister, Alpha McVicker; sister-in-law, Betty S. Jones; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3345 Lexington Rd, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor.
