ILARI,
Theresa A., 79, of Louisville, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016.
She was the former Theresa Amshoff, a retired bookkeeper for The Fashion Post and a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. She graduated from Holy Rosary High School and was a life-long singer and music lover. She was a former member of Holy Name Choral Club, Ninth and O, St. Denis, and St. Edward’s Church Choirs. After being widowed she started a new path, earning degrees from JCC and U of L and worked for many years as a bookkeeper at The Fashion Post.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andrew J. Ilari; parents, Elmore and Marcella Amshoff; and brother, Tony Amshoff.
Theresa is survived by her sons, Steve (Sherry), Ken (Elaine), Vince (Lana), Chuck (Sue), and Rick (Anna); sister, Marcella Herde; ten grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and friend, Don Anderson.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 7 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9602 Sue Helen Dr. with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
