Dillon,
Betty Byerly, 82, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 1, 2016.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. Betty was a devoted mother and wife. Gardening was one of her favorite hobbies.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred (Mitchell) Byerly; brother, Irvin Byerly and grandson, Gus Murphy.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jerome A. Dillon, Sr.; children, Jerome A. Dillon, Jr. (Peggy), Mary Cowley (Bill), Vicky Combs (Doug), Daugherty Murphy (Rick), Nora Hall (Robert), Paula Ballard(Greg), Diane Fischer (Mike), Nancy Stucker (Greg), Lisa Hamilton (Woody), Tom Dillon, Edward Dillon, Dennis Dillon (Ellen), Robby Dillon and Carrie Burns (Robert); 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, Bardstown Road at Lancashire Ave. with burial in Calvary Cemetery to follow.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
