Condolences

Condolence From: Marty Pollio
Condolence: I'm finding out about Scott way too late. I'm writing this in 2023, and have no idea if anyone will ever see it at this point, but feel the need to pay tribute to my high school buddy. I had unsuccessfully looked for him online from time to time, and now I am saddened to find his obituary. I had hopes of seeing him again because he was my favorite high school friend. Quiet people like myself often enjoy hanging out with those who have bigger personalities. Owen Scott Dillon had a personality that could light up a city. The Big O, as we called him, was a rapid-fire conversationalist with a hugh laugh. He was fun and funny and we were crazy teenagers who took so many chances it's amazing we made it out of those years alive. I guess after high school we got busy pretty fast with our lives, I'm not really sure how we ever lost touch, but I would love to know what he was like as an adult. I'm glad to read that he had a nice family and a happy life. I learned about this about a week ago and I can't get it out of my mind because he made such a huge impression on me all those years ago. My belated condolences to the family. Rest in peace, my friend.

Condolence From: Myran Julie Jarmon of Midland City, Al
Condolence:
I know the Dillon family has saddened hearts because of losing Scott. So I wanted to share this beautiful scripture where our heavenly father, Jehovah, (Psalms 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. " God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. Condolence: This is a sad day for me.
Scott was my best friend in grade school, high school and beyond.
Even though we haven't kept in touch much these last 20 years, I know if I needed something he would be there for me. I would have done the same.
I've got many great memories from Wendell Ave.
Jim, Danny, Emmy, Bruce and Boo-Boo, I don't know what to say except what your Dad taught me, "Be Careful".

Mike
