Calvin Lee  Evans
EVANS, Calvin Lee, "Cool Breeze", 90, passed away Thursday March 3, 2016.

He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran; he enlisted after the attack on Pearl Harbor, and served 13 years. Mr. Evans was a retiree of Mead Container Inc. He was longtime member of The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Tom & Bessie Evans; brother Kedrick Evans, Sr.; and sisters Willa Mae Davis, Rosa Mae Hall, Beatrice Femister, and Anna Laura Reeves.
Mr. Evans is survived by his daughters Yalonda Evans Buckner (Keith), and Bunchie; three grandchildren, Brian Ramsey, and Carlton & Joy Buckner; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Wednesday March 9, 2016, 5-8 pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville; Home-Going service will be Friday March 11, 2016 at Advantage Funeral Service, 1724 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga TN, with burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
