YOUNG, G. Dimple, 88, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at her home.
Born in Russell Springs, KY, the former Dimple Coffey retired from P. Lorillards Tobacco Company and was a member of the Order of the Amaranth, where she was a past Grand Royal Matron. She also belonged to St. Matthews Baptist Church, Falls City Model A Club, and was a KY Colonel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Young; and siblings, G.R. Coffey, Udene Sullivan, Elmo Coffey, Leon Coffey, Onis Coffey, and Ada Farmer.
Dimple is survived by her son, E. Kamos Glover; siblings, Dravo Coffey, Airl Coffey, Lois Kimbler and Ann Lyons; and granddaughters, Whitney, Jennifer and Alyssa Glover.
Her funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Wednesday at Highlands.
