Condolence: It was by accident that I saw Dr. Ziegler's obit here in the Courier-Journal. He delivered me in December of 1962 at St. Joseph's. He also delivered my younger sister (1966) & younger brother (1968). I remember that my mom spoke very highly of him. I've often wondered over the years if Dr. Ziegler was still practicing in Louisville, now I know! May he rest in peace.

Condolence: It has been a very long time since I had a chance to see Dr Ziegler. My condolences are with his family. My dad, Henry Shipp and mom, Molly were great friends of Dr Z's. He was my doctor for awhile as well. Thank you Dr Z for all your care. He was a great doctor.

Condolence: Gemma, you have my very deepest sympathy at the loss of your beloved husband. Your family and friends will uplift you and carry you through and also help you remember the best of times. I have great memories of what a wonderful doctor he was for me. But I also enjoyed meeting your son just a few years ago at the Bellarmine Show House on Cherokee Road, I believe. He is a wondeful young man and a credit to his mother and father. God be with you and your family.

You don't know me but I remember you guys from the late l950's! My family lived next door to your family on Youngwood Rd. I remember playing in each others back yards. Your Dad was called upon in a couple of emergencies and was highly thought of by my parents and other neighbors. I am so sorry for your loss.
