Underwood, Marie, 87, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012.
She was the former Marie Schaeffer and a member of Fern Creek Christian Church.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Underwood and son, Ron Underwood.
She is survived by her sons, John Underwood (Heather) and Gary Underwood (Donna); daughters, Karen Brandon (Michael), Linda Meador (Gary) and Frances Cahill (Rex); cousin, Mary Jane Metzmeier (Charlie), who was more like a sister; niece, Kathy Schaeffer; nephew, Michael Schaeffer; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 -8:00 p.m. Sunday at Highlands.
